Find the mass of a block 5 cm by 5 cm by 10 cm made of steel having a density of 7.82 g/cm^3?

Find the mass of a block 5 cm by 5 cm by 10 cm made of steel having a density of 7.82 g/cm^3?

Any help?

Answer:
1955 gram
density = mass/volume
therefore, mass = density * volume
mass = 7.82 * (5*5*10)
= 1955 g
Mass = volume x density

The volume is 5x5x10=250 cm^3

Mass = 250 cm^3 x 7.82 g/cm^3 = 1955 g

So the answer is 1955 g.
Multiply the length by the width by the height to get the volume in cm^3 then multiply the volume by the density to get the mass.

5cm * 5 cm * 10cm = 250cm^3
250cm^3 * 7.82g/cm^3 = 1995g
