In a loadcell there are say, six terminals in a six-terminal hook up system i.e. excitation(2), sense(2), input(2) if the screen terminal is neglected. What role do the sense terminals play?
Answer:
The sense terminals should be the weight signal, of course. If there is no weight being sensed, the difference in voltage between the two terminals should be zero. Otherwise, the difference in voltage is proportional to the weight being sensed.
