What are ways we can go green and help our Earth?

I care deeply about our environment and want to help but i need easy ways for kids and teens that don't involve cars because i am too young to drive. I will very much appreciate it if you answer this.

Answer:
You can list out many. But small small things what ever is possible for use we can start doing it. For example avoid plastic carry bags, slowly avoid even paper - use only e-communication, avoid using air conditioners, wherever possible avoid using 4 wheelers - and so many. Thanks for asking this question. Please read more below.
I have a couple of suggestions;

First, and most importantly; Educate yourself. There's a lot of information out there. There's a lot of crap too, but you have to sift through it to get to the good stuff. Just the fact that you've asked the question shows that you're on the right track for this.

Recycle - paper, cans, bottles, plastics, AA batteries - whatever you can. Get your friends to do it too.

Encourage your parents to buy organic food, especially if it's locally grown. Even if you can't find organic, go with locally grown foods. It helps small farmers, it cuts down on pesticide and herbicide use in the environment, it's better for you, and it just tastes better (try a bite of an organic apple, and then one of the regular ones - you'll never eat the regular ones again). It costs a little more, but discipline yourself to eat less of it. It's easier than you might think. (I like to eat, so I had to do this myself).

If you have space for it, start a garden and grow some of your own food organically. If you don't have space, look for a community garden you can get in on, or try to organize one yourself.

I know you're a teen and don't drive yet, but you still need your parents to drive you to practices and things - try to organize your schedule to minimize trips. Share rides with others. Ride a bike.

Encourage your family and friends to help you. It's a lot easier doing these things when you've got others doing them with you.

Remember this; You're not going to change the world in a day. Make small changes where you can, and hang in there. You might not see a difference right away, but if you make enough small changes, they can become big changes over time.

Good luck.
You can ask your parents to save electricity by changing your light bulbs to energy saving compact fluorescent ones? These cast around 6 dollars each so you could buy one each week with your allowance and do it yourself. Turn your Fridge down one notch. Often they are set too cold and the motor has to work harder than necessary. Turn off all lights and the TV when you leave the room. Plug out your CD player as opposed to leaving it on stand by. Buy a Solio from www.solio.com and power your cell phone and iPod from the suns rays. Maybe try this for a Birthday present?
Overfishing is a major environmental problem. If you eat seafood you should look for seafood with the blue MSC eco-label. This is the label of the Marine Stewardship Council, an international non-profit organisation which sets an environmental standard for sustainable fishing practices. Fish and seafood carrying the blue MSC eco-label has come from a fishery that has been independently certified as sustainable. Find out where to buy MSC labelled seafood at http://eng.msc.org.
have seedlings of plants and donate them to green foundations in your areas.plant or propagate the seeds of the fruits you bought from the market so you wont have too much expenses in establishing it.
One way to help the environment has to do with eating. Eating is generally touched on, but not gone into in depth. Learn how to cook, by you doing your own cooking, much help is given to the environment. Eating meals at fast food restaurants seems to be very harmful to the environment. Pack a picnic instead of going to a restaurant and walking to the site would be best.
* The only way we are able to 'help' our earth it by abandoning it and leave it in peace.
