Do you think that global warming is 100% or almost 100% man's fault?

Answer:
no. If man indeed has any impact at all, it's very minor.

one quick point, the carbon that becomes carbon dioxide when fossil fuels are burned originally came from the atmosphere, therefor, more carbon dioxide existed in the atmosphere at one time previous to human intervention.

There's endless evidence of warmer environments in higher latitudes in the geologic record.

Unfortunately, the facts are overshadowed by people's opinions and doomsday-speakers.
no i think it something so gas company put more money in there pocket
Yes.
Nobody thinks its all mans fault unless they know absolutely nothing about global warming. Global warming is a natural occurance, greenhouse gases from people are just greatly speeding it up.
no, blame the crickets. all that rubbing of their legs together generates gi-normous heat.
I think that Global Warming is a scare tactic just like over-population was in the 60's and 70's. What was the result of that scare? Birth control, abortion and the self imposed genocide of the American people. We are being swept aside by the Latinos, the Muslims and the Orientals...because we are the only ones who bought into that scare!!

Turn off the news and live a life "Under God" as our forefathers intended.
nope.

Climate change is happening. It is mostly caused by humans.
It has nothing to do with ozone depletion.
It does not mean sunnier warmer weather (as implied by the term global warming)
Global Warming in many ways is no different than the Next Ice Age of the '80s

The real problem is that as a WHOLE PEOPLE thru industrialization, greed, and lack of long-term thinking our of desire for low-cost & convenience has caused an IMBALANCE

"Mother Nature" is responding to that imbalance. if you were walking and carrying a heavy plate and lost your balance... is it likely that the plate would tilt or slip and become uncontrolled

History should show us that Earth changes over time... in that past it used to take a long time for land to move, continents to shift, and the land/ocean footprint to change... now it is taking much less time and the changes are accelerated

and it is in that acceleration that I find alarm.. it really doesn't matter (for the sake of argument) if it is the "next Ice Age" of the 80s or the "Global Warming" of today.. that is only a 20 year span. it is the DRAMITC SHIFTS

no matter how much anyone tries to say it isn't the activities of humans... I have to argue... one person says.. well the problem in that animals put out to much carbon dioxide... my response: People are Animals.. and Deforestization means less large trees to filter and process the CO2 giving us back oxygen in return... it is concrete instead of grass (did you know that the average grass yard does more to cool the air than your air condition does in the same time frame?)... it is pesticide run-off in our water.. Earth can't absorb anymore of this...

Because we use Anti-Bacterial soap... there is now Dioxon showing up in our own body chemistries. There was a solution prior to anti-bacterial soap... Isopropyl Alchol & it evaporated not causing Dioxin as a by-product

the Dioxin didn't exist as a result of anything but the use of anti-bacterial soap

So... even if you don't believe in Global Warming... do please believe in the problems that are created when "WE" as a populus determine to abuse our resources & not be good steward of the resources available to us
It is 100% our fault. Before humans started actively using fossil fuels and cut down trees, this planet existed just fine for centuries before that. Either way, however, accepting that global warming is happening independently of us is like voluntarily accepting your own death. It is too bad that people in power address critical issues when those issues become too critical and when a lot of damage is already done. By the time our governments figure out how to deal with global warming, a lot of people will die from hurricanes, floods, and heat waves.
I think it's safe to say this, but you have to follow along carefully:

Any increase in average world temperatures and in CO2 and other greenhouse gas levels...

...that is above and beyond what the historic natural record would predict to be the maximum..

...is 100% the result of human activity.

This allows for the natural climate cycle of the planet so that we can talk rationally and not hysterically about global warming. BUT WAIT.

By this last paragraph, I am NOT saying that people concerned with global warming are hysterical. I am a person who subscribes 100% to the science that explains global warming and man's part in it.

It IS possible, people, for global warming to be occurring as a consequence of BOTH natural cycles AND human activity. The REAL issue is that the natural cycle is OK - AND WE KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE LIMITS OF THAT CYCLE ARE, so anything in excess of those limits is from human activity, and that's the portion that's NOT OK.

Bottom line - it's not hard to understand, but it's also not a simple bumper-sticker discussion. THINK, everyone.
Not close to 100% all are fault. Cows are also a major contribruter to methane gas witch contributes to global warming. (no joke.) silly cows.
The sun has been putting out more energy and man only makes 2% of the greenhouse gasses on earth. We will not say any thing about it being hotter in the early 1900s.
( all true)

But yes, why not mans fault I am a man and my ex blamed me for every thing.
Global warming is a natural phenomenon that we are accelerating and exacerbating through the improper and unethical practices of industry.

Though the term may be highly misunderstood and controversial to some people, the science behind it isn't and is very well accepted amongst ecological scientists.

I love these people that say we have no way of impacting the ecology of the planet... *sigh* Long term? No... we don't. Short term, absolutely. Imagine the ecological impact of detonating nukes on every corner of the planet... if after considering that a person still believes that we can't affect the ecology of the planet, they're logically inept.

Global warming over many many centuries is natural. The rate we're seeing right now in our current era is clearly man-made. Again, the scientific data on this is not ambiguous, regardless of how many think-tank funded "scientists" (I use the term loosely) the oil industry can pay off.

The earth carries the conditions to support life - our form of life - based on a balance of factors. Introduce too much of the wrong chemical or process and the balance is disrupted... the earth has processes to regulate some of this additional chemical mass (i.e. plant mass processing CO2 into O2, or the oceans absorbing CO2, as examples) but that only handles just so much of the chemical conversion... we're pushing way beyond what both mechanisms can naturally handle.

Like any "living" system, once the balance is off the environment becomes problematic to those organisms that rely on it.

This is very elementary earth science. It's highly disturbing that people still don't understand it.
No. Not even the most staunch believer in global warming and all the science of it would say that it's 100% man-caused. In the history of the Earth, the temperature has risen and fallen innumerable times, but it is the rate at which it is warming now that is of concern.

To answer the question: obviously a lot of global warming happens and has happened and will always happen whether or not we're here, so it's not all our fault.

What is our fault is that it's happening very quickly, and we're continuing to pollute and destroy the Earth. Global warming will happen FASTER than it has in the past this time around due to all kinds of things:

More de-forestation
More carbon emissions
A world population of 10 billion people in the next 100 years!
Holes in the ozone layer

The big one is the population growth. People take for granted that if you double the problems we're causing now...that's the real problem.

We're looking at whole parts of Antarctica melting off, polar bears and penguins going extinct, let's just chill out and clean ourselves up a bit before New Orleans is totally underwater...along with Miami, Amsterdam, and Shanghai
It's 100% manmade, just like Lex Luthor, Hannibal Lecter, Sylar, Vampires and the Boogieman.

all fictional evils.
Yes, the hysteria is 100% man's fault.

First, never accept any answer that points to a miniscule reading that is "the highest it has been in 650,000 years." That proves that they are trying to prove a point with something they really don't know for sure. "Facts" of that nature change every year or two. Besides, what happened 650,000 years ago that had the CO2 levels so high? Was then when Atlantis industrialized? Mankind's involvement, if there is any, in "Global Warming" is nominal. The Sun's activity and Earth's activity (volcano eruptions, etc.) contribute at least 99.5% of the causes of any warming that may be occurring.

In general, there are theories for everything, on every side. Use your common sense to guide you. If you think it seems right that we can't make it rain, but we can make the oceans rise by 12 feet, then by all means, believe in man-made global warming. But if you think perhaps it is possible that politicians would be more than willing to grasp on to an issue like this as a ticket to political power, and help the theory along any way they can, maybe you might be a little skeptical of it.
It may not be 100% man's fault, but even if we could turn the tide a small percentage, isn't it worth it. Who doesn't want a more healthy, stable enviroment to live in. We waste more money destroying this planet, isn't it time that we spend some to improve our world?
0% mans fault, You must be crazy if you think we can change God's plan.
