How can anyone take al gore seriously?
Answer:
algore could care less about the environment... he's just found an issue to latch on to get him back in the political spotlight.
Al, who?
They are all hypocrites with their own self important, money making agendas.
That said, if Al Gore does raise awareness for the planet and change some people's behaviours for the better, I can look the other way.
good question.
i dont think people do take him seriously.
thank goodness.
i used to say he should give up politics (since he never mastered it) and just be a father
then i realized he cant do that either
It's a case of cobbler without shoes.. She is not her father..maybe beeing so busy at work he had to sacrifice time for his daughter and this is her revenge. Al Gore is a great politician!!
i do!!!! i totally believe him! did you see his movie, inconvenient truth?
Stop shooting the darn messenger (Al Gore). He only delivered the message about global warming, he didn't invent it nor is he a scientist.
Whether you like Gore or not (or what he & his family does), he got the message acrossed-even if you don't believe it.
As to how you feel about the movie, that is your opinion and the rest of us are entitled to ours.
What you might want to check out is the date: Late December 2012 and what other cultures in other countries and times have said about it. Roman, Greek, Mayan, UK, Native American (Souix & Hopi), Christian Bible, just to name a few.
Makes for interesting reading.
How can we take someone seriously who attacks the man giving the message, because they know the message is true?
No one with a brain can take him seriously!
He's nothing more than a hypocrite!
It doesnt matter what his daughter drives. For all you know she might drive the maserati a few miles a day, and drives a prius the majority of it. Consumers as a whole through political legislation and manfacturers changing there practices will ultimately lead to more economical and environmental cars.
Al Gore is a great man, and did the world a huge service by explaining to the average American what global warming is in laymans terms. He is no scientist, but a politician, so after seeing the movie, people shouldnt automatically believe in Global Warming and believe everything he says. People need to be good Americans and inform themselves, and take responsibility, and do a little independent research on the subject. The message of his movie was clear and did a great job to bring attention to this subject.
Also in my opinion, I think Al Gore is sincere on this, and truly believes in making a positive change with no hidden agendas. He repeatedly announces that he is seeking NO political office anywhere. So does that still make him a politician?
Aren't you being hard on Al Gore about his Maserati-driving daughter? I mean, he must've done something right...OBVIOUSLY she's not as gullible as all those people that swallow his ridiculous message, no questions asked.
The fact that you know what car his daughter was driving when she went to pick him up, and know what sort of engine it had, is downright creepy. You need to find yourself a new hobby before you get into some serious trouble mate.
Al Gore has nothing to do with the science that says global warming is real and mostly caused by us. You don't have to take Gore seriously to know that global warming is serious.
Some people are conservatives who take their ideology to ridiculous lengths. They dislike Al Gore so much that anything he says simply must be wrong, even when he's simply repeating what the vast majority of scientists also say.
They maybe should listen to these guys:
"Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich challenged fellow conservatives Tuesday to stop resisting scientific evidence of global warming"
"Pat Robertson (very conservative Christian leader) "It is getting hotter and the ice caps are melting and there is a build up of carbon dioxide in the air. We really need to do something on fossil fuels.”
only fools on the left coast on bona, neither account for much.
