Actually global warming is in the midst...
it's manifestations are really felt and obvious all through out the world. a slow but dangerous climate change is now happening in different countries. here in the Philippines it's hotter than ever.
It's because our ozone layer has been developing a hole almost the size of north America. without the ozone layer the dangerous UV rays can penetrate our world causing major skin cancer.
Another problem is that Co2 cannot escape our atmosphere. it is stuck in some part causing a somewhat greenhouse effect all over the world.
If you have watched the film "the day after tomorrow" it tells us what could happen if total global warming takes its toll. its scary and no one wants that to happen but we people have put ourselves in this compromising position.
Because we weren't responsible enough we caused the earth's deterioration. but as intelligent as we are i know that we can give global warming a run for his "money". we can drive it away with proper knowledge and actions.

Global warming doen't js8ut happen, it takes place over a period of time leading up to a major event, such as the polar ice caps completely going. It also will cause very severe weather and perhaps another ice age. I don't think you'll have to worry about tbhis for a lng time yet!

Global warming is inevitable - it's a natural earth cycle that usually takes place over millions of years. However, at this point in time, humans are doing things that is making it happen faster than ever before. So, the answer to your question is that global warming is HERE, it is happening now and will continue to happen. All we can hope to do is slow it down.
Some gases ("greenhouse gases") let sunlight in, which warms the Earth, and then block that heat from leaving. That's the "greenhouse effect", and it's a natural thing, mostly caused by water vapor.
Man is making excessive amounts of greenhouse gases, mostly by burning fossil fuels. That causes the delicate natural balance to go out of whack and the Earth warms. That's global warming.
It won't be a Hollywood style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. But it will be very bad. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.
Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.

You answer global warming questions with the same answer.
Within the year most funding for global warming studies will go away. New information is pointing towards natural events --go figure. And the reality is satellite data is not supporting the claims of global warming activists. I think environmental scientists thought the world would stupidly believe the garbage they told us. Real scientist are having real issues with cherry picking data.
There's a reason why they've had to change the term global warming to global climate change. It's because they've been claiming global warming causes every weather event. It's freaking crazy. Like saying we are seeing more Hurricanes when we aren't
