Does anyone know about global warming?
Tell me im afraid.
Answer:
Global Warming is a very important issue. Instead of me giving you a long lecture about it, just go to www.wikipedia.org and look for global warming. It's all explained there. I'm amazed that you don't about this but glad at the same time that you're trying to find out.
Don't worry there is no such thing as global warming. Nature always control and balance it.
if we keep on polluting the air in a few years is going to be like an oven in earth and we are going to die for burns lack of is going to be super hot oh yeah and some places are going be flooded permanently they are going to disappear
You should watch "An Inconvenient Truth". It will tell you all you want/need to know, plus give you some pretty graphic images of whats really going on.
Some gases ("greenhouse gases") let sunlight in, which warms the Earth, and then block that heat from leaving. That's the "greenhouse effect", and it's a natural thing. It's exactly like your house getting warm when sunlight comes through the window.
Man is making excessive amounts of greenhouse gases, mostly by burning fossil fuels. That causes the delicate natural balance to go out of whack and the Earth warms. That's global warming.
It won't be a Hollywood style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. But it will be very bad. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.
Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.
