Is it OK to leave my boat fuel tanks full of ethonal for five months during winter storage?

Uh, I really wouldn't. Ethanol freezes really quickly.
It should be OK as long as you use a fuel stabilizer or and anti-bacterial, in the case of Diesel

I just read the first answer... she may be right... I don't worry about freezing where I live during the winter.
you can get a fuel preservative from your local auto parts store. Don't know what its called. but it helps keep the gas from going bad. Otherwise I'd drain it or it could mess up your carburetor/injectors when you run it.
