Apart from the fact that many animals serve as food for people
Animals In Nature have jobs ,each full fills a function in their respective eco -systems
some examples are
squirrels plant trees ,so do many birds
bees and other insects polinate
elèphants ,wild pigs ,clear jungle for new growth
crocodiles, lions and other predators are quality and quantity control ,they take out the excesses ,the sick and the stupid
many animals are vital parts in the food chains
grazing animals trim the prairries like gardeners
fish keep the waters clean from contamination
and scavengers like vultures and crows make sure their are no rotting carcasses to spread disease on the land
etc etc
each animal ,insect ,plant already is an expert and a specialist at the job , the have been alocated by Nature
so leave the animals alone they are all busy keeping the Environment in top condition
whilst Humans are doing everything to screw it up

for example. dogs that look for drugs
the police in Spain use pigs to look for drugs
the navy use dolphins as aquatic soldiers to place mines even kill
and wild dolphins are known to have helped and rescued many people from drowning or from sharks

in Asia they use pack rats to harvest wild rice
by building a storage with a door
so after the rats have filled up the underground store .the human raid it through the door from above

dogs help ,blind ,and deaf people ,also for hunting ,protection,guarding ,searching ,pulling ,carrying ,rescuing ,eating etc.
then there are ,donkeys ,elephants(help logging and travel and pack),horses ,mules ,lamas ,bufalos,oxen ,camels that carry and pull
a great variety of things ,from water wheels to dessert travel
eagles or falcons are used to hunt
so have cheetahs ,
ostridges as guards or for riding and pulling
we use snakes to control rat populations
wasps to kill caterpillars
chickens ,iguanas ,chooks ,partridge Guinea fowl to kill garden pest as a biological pestcontrol,on the ground
and flying birds to eat caterpillers on the fruit vines
pigs to clean up orchards or to plow difficult land by having a moveble coral and the pig churns up the ground ,where there is difficult terrain with snakes and rocks or deep rooted grass ,this is a pig tractor
a chicken tractor is used for easier ground ,to get rid of the weeds
here on the walls in the tropics we use click clacks (small lizards ,)to eat the mosquitos
people use mongoose to root out snakes
cats to keep the mice down
Carier pigions to relay messages
