Do you think global warming has occured a number of times in the past ?

Answer:
yes
nope
Yes and it can be proven.
However, many people are confused by the answer, since the global warming before was not caused by humans, but was because of natural causes.
One estimate is 7 times. So yes.
yes surely I believe this idea.and ı believe it will not the end of the world. may be some creatures will disappear and some will appear.
Absolutely, and it had nothing to do with what man did or didn't do.
Whether because of a huge comet crashing our planet or a super volcano belching, it occurred and undoubtedly a lot in the past, according to the guys who studied this stuff.

Granted, there is a problem with the environment and how we treat it, but realistically, I don't think mankind is the total culprit as far as the global warming is. We do contribute to the problem, but more than likely we are experiencing nothing more than a cycle earth is destined to deal with no matter what we do.
It definitely has. There is plenty of evidence. The evidence for global warming can be supported by the number and frequencies of Ice Ages.

"During most of the last 1 billion years the earth had no permanent ice. However, sometimes large areas of the globe were covered with vast ice sheets."

Science has abundant data showing that natural climate change has occurred in the past, and that man made global warming is recent.

Forget the political stuff and the "logical" arguments. Just look at the numbers and the science.

Most of the arguments can be answered simply by this. Yes, there have been natural climate changes before, mostly due to the Sun. But the data clearly shows that, starting about 40 years ago, man's contribution overwhelmed the natural forces that caused climate before.

This is a nice picture, includes the effect of the Sun, and there are many more scientific studies showing the same thing.

None of the other explanations works nearly as well. The scientific equations don't work for them. The numbers come out wrong. Most questions are answered here:

Good general information on global warming. with data and pictures:

Yes, and ice core data proves it. In the past, global temperatures have been as much as 3 degrees Celsius higher than current temperatures. Something of an inconvenient truth for the global warming alarmists, but a truth none the less.
Yes. Many times. This time it seems to be warming at a faster rate of change, and the fear is it may go higher than in the past.
It has and it will continue even when if the planet is vacant of human life. Global warming is happening on Mars, Pluto, Neptune, and on some moons
Well we have had a number of ICE AGES but we arent in one now so obviously we have had at least as many warmings ..

but this one is different in that we are speeding it up artifically. how much exactly, no-one can say but we are for sure.
