Has raising a food garden increased your awareness & concern about possible local sources of pollutants?

Do you think about local pollutants in ground water, soil and air more because you grow your own food?

Answer:
Yes. I think a lot about pollutants everywhere. I've stopped using deoderant because I was told it killed baby seals. Not sure if it helps or not, but I know my gardens alive!
Yeah; because since you are most likely going to be eating the food you grow, you want the surrounding area to be as pollutant free as possible

My family raise a garden for yrs never seen a change in temp or tte air
Absolutely. I also only buy from growers I personally know at the farmers market. Also, I now attend all the local govt. & council mtgs. so I know what is going on in my area. I would encourage everyone to have a garden and get envolved.
