Does a tropical climate make people lazy?

The heat and humidity drain you during the day.I was raised in La. and i know humidity.And the heat is just as bad.Now to go in on the river and swim would fix that,or make you really tired.

I've been to the Bahamas 3 times. I don't think it makes people lazy; however I did find that the people seem to just enjoy life more. They didn't rush around because they took the time to enjoy the simple things in life and their surroundings.

I live in Hawaii and I work my butt off but I do think I enjoy live more
Not at all.Im form a tropical island. Well we have hard working people over there. Its just a tag that when you are in a tropical island you should relax under a coconut tree with your chilled drinks and getting suntanned. Well thats the case for only tourists or visitors going to a tropical island. I dont mean that these tourists are lazy . Actually a tropical climate will make you get stronger in the sense that you will be able to work in hot conditions.I've never known temperatures below 15degree until I came to UK. The max temperature from where I come is 36-37 degree
I guess living in Hawaii gives you more of a positive attitude than say Montana

I don't think so overall. I tend to get lazy after work everyday. I went to India in the summer. It was incredibly hot. It was wise for people to stay indoors around noon. They weren't lazy. After high noon, the whole land became busy with activity. My laziness doesn't stem from heat as much as exhaustion, more emotional exhaustion than physical exhaustion.
Yeah! I feel like that when the weather is too hot, or too cold.
