Um, considering that Manbearpig was made up by Trey Parker and Matt Stone to make fun of Gore, I think you're a bit confused, to put it nicely.
Gore did not "make up" global warming. He didn't do the research, he didn't analyze the data, he didn't draw the conclusions. He simply presented the evidence from the scientific community that humans are the primary cause of the current global warming.
Why are you so obsessed with Al Gore? Do you need a friend?

I agree 100% with Dana1981. Hundreds of reputable scientists all over the globe have reached the same conclusions about global warming, Mr. Gore is simply using his "celebrity" status to present their views to the world, in the hopes of miminizing the impact our reckless use of fossil fuels and destruction of the environment will have on the next generations. You should have paid more attention in school during science classes, and perhaps you would be able to understand the validity of the global warming phenomenon.
I think is was trying to steal the Presidency that blew his credibility and lost him all his friends. Or was it his claiming that he invented the internet? Or his claim that he and Tipper were the inspiration for Love Story? Or his claim that HE was the one to discover the problem at Love Canal?
That's it - The preponderance of the evidence proves beyond a reasonable doubt that he is a boob!
Because he is a failed politician who needs desperately to remain in the public spotlight. By championing the 'cause' of Global Worming, he commands attention. Mark my words- in ten or 15 years, when the climate swings back to the cool side, as it naturally does, this moron will claim that he saved the planet. Just like he invented the Internet.

Seriously if you think Al Gore and thousands of scientists around the world are making up the facts of global warming then why is the natural environment everywhere in the world is some kind of turmoil.
Do you really think that the worst hurricanes and tornado's in history, wettest June for the Midwest US, or record breaking heat temperatures in the West is a coincidence?
He wants people to think he is cool and that he cares about the environment and what not because as we all know this is Bush's fault<scarcasim>. But really this is all strictly politics Al wants to run for president in 2012.
