When did it become 'hate speech' to doubt that CO2 has very much to do with climate change?
Answer:
I don't know anything about "hate speech" a better term would be ignorance!
when eco-terrorists started to take over the world
I didnt realize it was "Hate Speech"
it's all propaganda that people wish to follow blindly..it's just a superficial way to label something.. it gives it a "false platform"...yada yada yada
I don't think it is a "hate speech" to doubt about CO2. CO2 has been a greenhouse gas since long long ago! That is how the earth is kept warm! Present anthroprogenic (human actvitiy) contribution of CO2 is a concern. The controversy could be because of the management of expectations between developed (already contibuted to climate change) and developing conuntires.
I agree with Mike O.
It's not.
It's just not science, anymore than believing the Earth is 6000 years old is.

"climate science from climate scientists"
Its not "hate speech."
People get ridiculed for such so-called "doubts" simply because it shows that they are ignorant--and more to the point, aren't willing to learn.
Or because they claaim its a matter of opinionor debate, like a political question. It isn't--its a scientific fact, well established (proven). There is no "debate." These are the sort of people who attempt to use character assassination or political ideology as a substitute for evidence to resolve a scientific question. That also merits only ridicule--here. When a student in one of my classes tries this (on ANY topic)--regardless of their political position (right or left) I return the assignment--and tell them they can either accept an F or they can redo the assignment right.
And before you say that's too harsh--most college instructors don't give them that second chance. Norwill I if it happens a second time.
