Global Warming?

I'm curious to know what your opinion on global warming is and why you think that. I also want to know how many people would believe global warming if al gore hadn't made the movie about it.

Answer:
Global warming is real and 80-90% caused by us.

Forget about Al Gore, the political nonsense and the "logical" arguments. Just look at the numbers and the science.

Most of the arguments can be answered simply by this. Yes, there have been natural climate changes before, mostly due to the Sun. But the data clearly shows that, starting about 40 years ago, man's contribution overwhelmed the natural forces that controlled climate before.

This is a nice picture, includes the effect of the Sun, and there are many more scientific studies showing the same thing.

None of the other explanations works nearly as well. The scientific equations don't work for them. The numbers come out wrong. Most questions are answered here:

All Gorm will jump on any band wagon to get to the White House..he lost before and thinks if he is seen as the new super green man he will get to be the next president of the USA...he wants to land the top job and will say all he needs to get there...maybe if he come out with less crap would spare us all from the smell...Well G.W.Bush has more chance of getting to kiss BINS ***.What would Mr gorm do? shut down the USA.you can not drive!! heat your FOOD or HOUSE...if you work in the places that cause pollution ...sorry you NOW not got a job???yeah right...now that's a vote winner.he goes on about reducing CO2 gases by 90% ...but in how long ??5-10...20 -40..years...the guy talks the talk.but he will never WALK HIS WALK>>>>>see the TREE HUGGERS ARE OUT THERE>>>>but i guess you do not breath or fart... or cook food ect ect.get a life...YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM! oh unless BROTHER BOB is out back pedaling the bike to get you on line ..if not YOU.. may be changing the world.buy using electic.go climb a tree or get a job you .!!!you are the brain washed get your own life.
ok for 1 remember the hole in the ozone layer(you cant put a hole in a gas for one)they changed the name to global warming
now the problem is that "global warming " is completely natural a simple math equation will solve global warming.
1. earth has an ice age every 150,000 years.
2. earths last ice age happened only 50,000 years ago
3. answer = a minimum of 25,000 years of NATURAL global warming before it starts cooling again. oh and as for the pollution thing have you seen pics. of California specifically San Francisco bay area in the early 1900 till 1980 you will hardly ever see any hills or mountains in the pictures why pollution back then was much much much worse then.
Look around you. Look outside at the city skyline. Polution fills the skies almost everywhere you go. Now tell me that this pollution has no effect on our atmosphere. It is ludacris to think that. Polution is only getting worse with more and more fossil fuels being burned everyday. Global Warming is a very serious problem that needs to be addressed soon.

Now i haven't even seen Al Gore's movie but i consider myself fairly educated on this problem. Every year the population of polar bears drops dramatically. This is only one effect of Global Warming. Every day the water levels rise the smallest bit because of the ice caps melting away. If you saw a glacier 5 or 10 years ago i encourage you to go back to it and see it now. If it still even exists it will be dramatically smaller. Global Warming may be unstoppable but we have to try to stop it since we are who caused it.
Climate is changing and the next cycle after this slight warming will kill the Human race off as it will be the next Ice age
I "believed" in global warming before I saw Al Gore's movie. Actually I still haven't seen it in full yet.

To me it just make sense. At least 95% of the scientist believs in this theory. The "greenhouse effect" is what makes our planet habitable and to increase the most important greenhouse gas CO2 with 35% compared to (high) pre industrial levels should logically raise the earth temperature, just like the scientists predicts.

I personally get the feeling that Americans are more skeptical about global warming than other people in most of the world. Not strange though with a president who've done all he can until lately denying the problem. Al Gore might have had a huge impact on the debate in America.
I knew about global warming and dimming before Gore said something. I believe it's here and it's real. And I'm afraid of whats coming, if we don't all change.
I could write a book about my views on global warming, but I wont. Instead, I would like to note that Al Gore isn't trying to become president. haha. Whoever read that obviously isn't following presidential politics in the least. I just can't stand when people blow up about something that they are completely uneducated about.
Oh fun, the ice age. The Earth is like a big balloon in space. Do galaxies shrink or expand in a expanding universe? But the moon is moving farther away and it to is a balloon in space. Is the O zone just there so scientists can go oh know no? Is this the hots it will get? Getting closer to the sun rather that moving away from the sun can the ever move back to the original orbit? Profile etc. of One ton carbon penis? Gasmentalist
global warming is caused by the SUN! Mars is having global warming also, melting ice caps and the same "average" temp increase as earth!

Dont buy the lie!

They are just setting up for more taxes and restrictions!

The politicians dont want this to get out!
It is a natural phenomenon that occurs periodically throughout global history. My feeling about Al Gore is the same.
