Do you cut the plastic six pack rings that go on soda before you throw them away?
Answer:
I wasn't aware of this. I hardly ever buy soda's. Too much acid and sugar for me. I try to pick up debris in my neighborhood from time to time. Speaking of animals. Don't forget to feed them especially during the winter months.
No I don't. It has been so long since I bought a six pack of cans of anything that I forgot they even had those rings any more.
yes I do, but I live close to the gulf
I did before, when I bought them. Good idea though.
I have for the past 9+ years.
I don't use any drinks that come packaged with those things. If I did I would definitely cut them up before tossing them in the garbage. If you don't recycle or reuse plastic bags then it is also a good idea to tie up plastic bags into knots so that they don't blow away and become trash in the neighborhood.
absolutely, it is so dangerous for animals if they do wind up around them. save the planet!
I do when I come across them. And I'm notorious for going through the garbage at my parent's house or at work and sorting out all the recyclables and cutting any plastic six pack rings.
The last time I bought a product containing the plastic rings I cut them up, but I haven't bought any for a while.
We no longer buy 6-pack stuff ... not environmentally friendly.
yeah,
i'm aware of that...
i don't drink pop,
so i guess i'm helping
the environment! :D
I'm usually too lazy to find a scissors so I rip them apart.
I havent done that, but I tear them off and I always put them in a garbage bag and seal it up in the garbage, never toss them loose into anything. Do you think thats safe enough, or should I still cut them into? Just curious. Want to be safe for the animals, they are Gods creatures too.
I don't buy products that have the rings. I do cut them whenever I see them. Propel bottled water and some other products have the kind that pull apart easily.
I refuse to buy soda with those rings.
yep, i do saves animal lives, not that i throw them in the ground or the ocean or whatever i care for the environment
I don't throw them away, I put them in the recyling bin.
