Join all the clubs (art, theatre, sports, etc) that you have any interest in, because you never know where you can make new friends. I actually became best friends with a girl that was my enemy in middle school because we were the only girls in our physical education class. Keep an open mind and an open heart and you will have fun! There are girls who will be evil; if they try to prey on you just act like it doesn't bother you. You don't need their approval to have fun.
highschool doesnt get interesting or fun until your junior and senior year. take advantage of every opportunity and have as much fun as possibl. it will be the best two years of your life

Best answers are above, but when you get into high school make sure to get involved in things you enjoy, or are interested, in doing. Join a club, take the electives you want to and try to stay away from high school drama and you'll have a great time.

While sometimes it's not fun or silly or bad things happen, in a way, maybe you'll be like me one day and look back at it and think it was "funny" and laugh at it.

When I was in high school, I really didn't care too much about anything. My advice to you is to let yourself have fun. You will have alot of difficult times and alot of wonderful times. Take advantage of everything you can. Go on trips with clubs ( I went to France and that is a memory I will never forget) Do whatever interests you and DO NOT let anyone discourage you from doing what you want to do. If I could go back I would and make it a different experience. I hope you don't look back in 10 years and say the same.
Although freshmen year is usually the least favorite, it's SO much different from middle school! Less drama, more work, yet more fun! :-)(-:
depends on ur view of fun to me it wasnt but some parts of it were like shops gym and sports plus the easy way of havin a business but the other parts like skool work and stuff like wernt
Some people loved it, I personally did not enjoy it much.
I was very shy and didn't get very involved because of that. Also, I didn't really start studying until College and now I wish I had studied more.
You can make it what you want, I wish someone had told me that ( OR I was as wise as you are now to ask about it).

Highschool was fun, but isn't while you are there.
It can be fun if you think it'll be fun. So many people before me said that the freshman year was the worst year because your the low man on the totem pole, but its actually a lot of fun. Join a few clubs that you might be interested in because too many and you might get stressed out. Also, do all of your homework, at the best quality that you can get it too. Remember to have fun though, don't get distant from your old friends from middle school but don't be surprised if they make new friends and don't really want to hang out with you anymore. Go to your school dances and be an active member in your school. I hope you have a great first year of highschool, I know I did! :D
High school will be what you make it! My unsolicited advice to you is to get involved in things right away and take classes you want to take in addition to your required curriculum. Try out for musicals, take a photography or computer class, join a sign language club. Stretch yourself, high school is not as hard as college, and you can really develop yourself with those four years.
Sorry, no it is absolutely NOT fun. But the 10 year reunion is fun when you show up and see that all of the 'cool kids' have become total losers. Now THAT is fun. It's worth the wait.
What happens to you in high school you will never forget. Forge good friends and try to stick by them no matter what. If you stay in the same community after you graduate, it's nice to see old friends all grown up.
