How to plant a green bean?
Facing up , facing down or ANY O' HOW to plant it?I would appricieate the help .

It doesn't matter if it's facing up or down. Just stick your finger in the ground up to your first knuckle and then drop the bean in. Cover it loosely and water well. If it's a bush bean, space them 8 - 12 inches apart. If it's a pole bean, make sure to give them something VERY tall to climb. Pick them before you can see the bean forming inside of the pod. That'll take a careful eye for a little while, but you'll get the hang of it. At the end of the growing season, leave a few on the plant until they are withered. Save those beans for planting next year. Good luck!!

I don't think it matters. They right themselves by themselves. Thats how they do it in nature.
The bean will grow no matter which side you have up.
Plant the seed appx 1/2 inch under the surface of the dirt.
Add water.
Should see sprout in about a week to 2 weeks.
It doesn't matter up or down. Ive dropped them on the ground and found them borrowing in the ground

So in other words the best way to help the planet is not to plant vegetables but to offset your carbon!
