I dont get where you are going with this.
Of course my kid is more important, but because my kid is important I want to see him be able to grow up in a healthy safe environment. If that means that I need to reduce my emissions then ok, im already doing it.

Are you serious? Children are more important than ANYTHING, but part of our concern for our children, part of our hopes and fears associated with them, is the kind of world they will grow up in. And that, very directly, involves global warming.
both. without kids, we'd have no future. without improving our global warming situation, we'd have no future, and not to mention, our kids would be faced with declining health.

So at the moment I guess it would be global warming, as even the tinyest concern in the topic would make it greater than my concern for nonexistent children.

My kids (and grandkids and you) are the reason I care about global warming.
I likely won't be around. But if we don't do anything about global warming, when it hits, their life will be hard. It won't kill them but it would surely make them a lot poorer.
of course kids are very important that is why we care for them. that is why we are worried about their future. what will happened to them if global warming will continue to destroy this earth? do you think this place would be safe for them. even though I'm only young and do not have kids yet for I am only a teenager I know how important kids are for they the ones who will inherit this world so we be a very good example to them that they also care for the next children and for the earth where they live in.

Under normal circumstances I would say my child right along with the rest of the children of the world, but these are not normal times.
The real question is: How are any of us going to survive what IS going to happen? People in power and those with large amounts of money will do their best to make sure they survive and to heck with the rest of us. That has been true since human first took up a stone to hit another human, let alone an act of nature that has had a boast from humans.
But my son is precious to me as are other sons and daughters that belong to other parents. I don't want my son to suffer.
My kids are my most important concern and hence Global warming and other environmental concerns are my greatest interest. I want my kids to grow up and have the privilege to see their own future children grow up in a good and sustainable world...
I don't understand what your point is. We and our offsprings are part of what is called the ecosystem. I'm not going into details, but basically, everything is linked. Therefore, if you care about your kids, or your grandkids, you need to care about global warming because otherwise, your kids and your grandkids won't have a future.
