i tihnk it means recycle more.
It is a call for people to start making supposedly "environmentally friendly" choices. As in, using solar power, recycling, using hybrid cars, etc..
it means to live a environmently friendly lifestyle.
Go Green refers to limiting your emissions that contribute to global warming. Going Green can be done by making sure all your light bulbs are energy savers; using cloth bags to haul groceries instead of paper or plastic; making sure your car is up to date with oil and tire pressure; etc.
Go Green means using earth friendly products that will not put toxins into the air or the earth,using products that conserve energy,being aware of water conservation and the like. it means realizing , acknowledging our relationship with this planet ,the earth that we live on, and thereby becoming responsible caretakers of our home. Doing all we can and what is necessary to do to keep our home , this earth healthy and productive even if it calls on us to make some sacrifices or initially increase spending on the eco-friendly products.
It means to be a "green" person. A vegeterian, a vegan, an animal rights activist. To be active in the saving of the enviroment. To Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
to go green means to use materials/objects that do not result in any hazard to the environment. for eg. to use biodegradable stuff for packaging instead of plastics

Take public transportation when you can instead of driving a car and if you drive a car, use a fuel-efficient car and car-pool, perhaps drive a hybrid.

Basically it means CONSERVE and REDUCE your use of electricity and fossil fuels.
Walk when you can instead of drive or use a Vespa Scooter which gets 75MPG.
Switch to using Eco-Friendly and non-toxic cleaning products like those made by Mrs Meyer's Clean Day, 7th Generation, Dr Bronner's Sal Suds, Ecover.
Bring a reusable bag for carry your groceries in instead of using plastic or paper bags.

Well, to me it means to live your life in such a way that you conserve the resources of mother earth and help prevent lasting damage to the enviroment by recycling and/or reusing what ever you can.
