First, a bunch of Socialists grab hold of a red herring issue like the sky is falling, or in this case, "Climate Change", and then scare everybody into giving up their individual liberties and freedoms in order to decrease their individual environmental footprint. They talk non-sense about carbon-offsets, "the debate is over", and a consensus of scientists say the sky is falling. They do all of these things to make themselves relevant (Al Gore) and to promote a political agenda. It's a fantastic strategy to get people to take action that they otherwise wouldn't consider.

I'm not sure how global warming works but based on this summer the effects are cooler temps to yay global warming.
Global warming is an effect cause when green house gasses eat away at the ozone layer. The ozone layer is what sheilds the earth from a special kind of light emitted from the sun called UV rays. These UV rays can cause climate change and skin cancer. However global warming is natural. While many people claim it is due to cars and factorys this is not entirely true. While cars and factorys do contribute to global warming, a volcano can produce more green house gasses in one eruption than in a year of world wide car and factory use.
Severe and chaotic climate and dramatic weather changes are the norm with global warming. Since the planet is 2/3 rds water, the temperature of the oceans is KEY to understanding global warming. When the oceans become warmer than "normal" or what we consider to be "normal", then the rest of the planet is well. doomed.

Man is making excessive amounts of greenhouse gases, mostly by burning fossil fuels. That causes the delicate natural balance to go out of whack and the Earth warms. That's global warming.
It won't be a Hollywood style disaster. Gradually coastal areas will flood and agriculture will be damaged. But it will be very bad. Rich countries will cope, but it will take huge amounts of money. In poor countries many people will die of starvation, but not all of them.
Most scientists say, in 20-50 years. But we need to start right now to fix it, fixing it will take even longer than that.

As best as I understand it--The ozone layers are what protect us from the suns rays etc.(or keep it to what it should be). Lots of what man is doing is destroying the ozone. (Auto,factory,jets,etc.) Emmisions,This is slowly heating up our atmosphere. Ice-burgs are melting.Polar bears are suffering because of this.This is as simple as I can explain. It goes into the difference in the way plants are growing,water is evaporating and many other things. It is really a lot more complicated but I like to simplify everything.We really are being effected if people believe it or not. Think this is right.
global warming is when the Earth is hotter than it usually is because there is a hole in the ozone. The ozone is a layer of gasses that block out the dangerous rays of the sun. With a hole in the ozone those rays get in and heat up the earth.
the people in all the world must be care about it, the global warming is caused by all of us, the industries, the cars, the polution.

Every source will tell you a slightly different story. Suffice that warm and cold areas on earth and in the oceans are changing and everybody knows why. They just can't agree on the why.
