Can I get a electric mid size car now, that I can replace the battery with a fuel cell in the near future?

Answer:
I think Honda makes one that is mainly battery that switches to fuel when the battery gets to low.
None are currently made. You could convert a car to electric yourself, though.

I wouldn't get too excited about fuel cell though... plug-in hybrid looks much more practical.
Here is a list (top ten not mine) of electric cars available.

Check them out maybe something will suit you. Replacing batteries with a fuel cell could be difficult and expensive. (Theoretically possible)

HOPE THIS WAS SOME HELP..
