Where can I buy a reusable shopping bag?

I live in North Carolina.

Answer:
A bag doesn't have to be specified as a shopping bag to be used for shopping. Any tote bag could work, and those can be found almost anywhere, possible even a dollar store. But for some that are specifically shopping bags try the following sites:
http://store.greenfeet.com/itemdesc.asp?... --->about the size of a grocery bag
http://www.reusablebags.com/store/shoppi... --->all different sizes
http://www.clothbag.com/ --->other options here that you can even design!
http://www.reusablebags.com/store/shoppi... --->thermal to keep things cold! :)
I'm sure they're somewhere. check a walmart
They are having a great sale on reusable shopping bags now at www. mileskimball.com
Walmart has a whole bunch of reusable shopping bag styles, I have also seen them at Target. Then there is always the internet or make your own. If you want to do the last email me and I will send you a pattern.

As long as it is a cloth bag that you can wash, you can get it at any department store.
I use an old canvas bag I had gotten from Target, or if I'm doing major grocery shopping, I bring in some boxes. I use to reuse the bags I got from the grocery stores for garbage cans and whatnot, but I always had way to many and there just not worth the pollution.
Or MAKE your own out of cloth! Not hard to make. You could even decorate it or paint on it! It could be the coolest bag in the stores!
store- cvs walmart online
It doesn't have to be a "grocery bag" I sometime use the bag I took to the beach. Usually just a large enough bag to fit groceries in. You can even reuse those plastic bags. Really any large durable cloth bag can be used
I like canvas bags best for shopping...especially since lots of non-profit organizations sell canvas bags with their logos and quotes, so your shopping bag can be a social/political statement. Some of my favorite organizations that sell canvas bags (all available online) are the National Organization for Women, Amnesty International, the Human Rights Campaign, and Planned Parenthood.
For plainer bags, or ones you can decorate yourself, try a craft store like Michael's or Jo-Ann's, or go to a food co-op, Whole Foods store, or Trader Joe's.

You can use tote bags. I would recommend getting ones that are made out of canvas or other sturdy material. I bought mine when Albertson's had Shop and Scan, and I love them. They are made out of canvas and a kind of viynl material. They can hold twice as much as a plastic or paper bag, and if they get dirty, I just throw them in the washing machine. I get some odd looks from cashiers and grocery baggers as it hasn't really caught on in DFW yet, but they are great! Good Luck!
Don't forget baskets. I live in Europe where you have to pay for a plastic bag so people use the canvas type bags, baskets and even plastic crates!
I know that most grocery stores are starting to sell them. You might also try organic food stores or farmer's markets. Hell, really any old book bag will work just as well:)
Target, WalMart, Jo Ann Fabrics, Michaels Crafts
OH good we are moving there and visit all the time! YAY U can find them at lowes food!
Good luck and thanks for being eco-friendly
whatever you do, DONT hut them from a big brand name stor (like walmart EVIL). they suck the money out of communities and exploit other communities. theyre also not responsible for any of their crimes including harming the enviroment. so make your ow bag or get one from a local independant grocer! contribute to your own community!
