What is a good organic soap recipe?

preferably one without lye

I've never tried making it myself, but my friend loves making soaps (I buy my organic soap at trader joes). all you have to do is get a good soap recipe & use organic ingredients. i really love this site:

You cannot make true soap without some form of caustic, it does not need to be lye (NaOH), a common alternate is potasium hydroxide (KOH), which is found in wood ashes.
