20 miles divided by an ~8000 mile diameter planet is 0.0025 -- if you shrunk the world to the size of a basketball, the atmosphere would be about the thickness of a sheet of tracing paper. It is inconceivable to me how people can think it's acceptable to keep pumping millions of tons of CO2 into such a miniscule atmosphere, and not have any effect on the natural cycle.

We do not have the power delivery ability to avoid massive taxation on the energy industry. Ditto manufacturing and transportation. Those sectors don't have the capital to invest in green technology across the board without endangering their bottom line and risking bankruptcy. This will lead to double digit inflation that will finally dwarf Jimmy Carter's economic history.

Right now, everyone is focused on CO2 as the demon. What happens if human CO2 production stays the same or decreases, but global CO2 continues to increase at the same rate? Will you guys just say, "Sorry, my bad."
