Does hairspray still hurt the ozone?
Answer:
Hairspray never did hurt the ozone layer. The propellant did. All, or almost all, aerosol cans have replaced the gas that was harmful with gas that is not. The general answer to your question is: No.
Aerosol hairspray hurts the ozone but a regular pump doesn't. It's such a sin because as long as they sell it in stores people, including myself, will keep buying it.
Most do.
Not the pump stuff...
No - CFC's (chlorofluorocarbons) that used to be in hairspray and other aerosols are no longer used in the US. If in China, however, things could be different.
Nope. there are no CFCs in the hairspray. The Montreal Protocol eliminated them back in 1989.
