It's very real. Like someone else said, there's the knowledge that the world has it's own warming and cooling cycles, but a major factor in this warming is human influence. It's such a shame that people aren't doing more to stop it. I mean, knowing that the earth warms and cools itself, and knowing that we are warming the earth too, well that means that it's almost a "double warming" effect. For goodness sakes, you'd think we'd do more to stop it! It's like a double whammy.

Its partially true. There is evidence that the earth Warms and Cools in cycles, how else do you explain coming out of an ice age? Too many caveman campfires?

It is real but studies have found that it is not a result of human interference. We can do things to slow it down but the stats show it it inevitable. History repeating itself.

Global warming is definitely real and scientifically measured. The question is whether or not humans have increased it to its present dangerous rate.
Global warming is a natural process. That's why ice ages come in cycles. With that being said, over a hundred scientists have just agreed and reported to U.N. that humans have significantly increased the rate of global warming. The measurements came from air samples trapped in glaziers, etc. With that being said, they could always be wrong.
In my opinion, it seems pretty obvious Humans are to blame. It seems as if it has only been a problem in the last 100 years. Just by coincidence, that's when humans began to industrialize and globalize at an unsustainable rate. Also, look at pictures of glaziers from 100 years ago to know, you will be shocked. Oh yeah, and in Germany they now have tornadoes...which if you ever lived or had family from Germany, that's pretty messed up.

The junk is the goofy half baked kneejerk "solutions" being proposed to deal with it, such as killing off forest land to grow "biofuel" crops, claiming that organic food reduces global warming because it doesn't require bug killer made from oil, and the most idiotic one yet: wiping your butt with a single square of toilet paper.
We've gone a long way towards doubling the CO2 in the air.
When you do that to one of the most active gases in the atmosphere, you can expect it to have serious effects. It would be unbelievably extraordinary if it did not.
We have carried out an experiment on a huge scale with our planet. It always had large risks.
I can remember being told this way back in the 1970s, by a particularly thoughtful science teacher.
The only question which remained was, what effect would this huge increase actually have? It's now clear that it is serious climate change -- in most parts of the world, warming.
Now we have to decide whether we are brave enough, determined enough and intelligent enough to do something about it -- if it's not too late (actually the 1970s would have been a good time to start...).
This is not (despite the efforts of some diehard petrolheads) a political issue. It is a survival one, for us and our one planet.
It is real all right but it seems human rase dose not give a s*;#h about it. So in like 50 or 60 years time our grand kids wont see wat we had.
I clearly stand alone among many but I dont believe in global warming despite what "officials" say. They can tell us that paying our taxes are law but why is it that nobody can show the law? HMmmm. I definately know that our leaders in gov are trying to control us with their power and telling us things (that don't make any sense) but if we just go with the flow and they talk about it over and over yeah many would just go along with it without doing their homework. Do your homework folks dont believe everything you hear and get all sides to it. Winter is just as cold as it used to be and you tell me why it isnt any warmer during those months cause according to them we are burning up! In 0 degree F weather?? Its buloney!

Al & co. have latched onto a natural phenomenon to create a cash cow for themselves.

Global warming is a condition, not a science, that does happen in cycles. However, not 10 days ago a very eminent climatologist reported that it was hooey. He is being downplayed as an eccentric. I'm sure that if you were to do some research on the web you'd be able to find his report and determine that ultimately we really don't affect it as much as some like former VP Al Gore would like for us to believe.

I am highly skeptical of all claims of global warming proponents, but i have yet to see a decent argument from the people who are trying to denounce it as hoodoo.
Pollution attributed to global warming IS causing environmental damage, and is just as much of a threat to humans as the possibility of GW.
