Best water bottle to buy.Brands needed.?
Answer:
The best bottle to get is to get a polycarbonated bottle from like a bed bath and beyond and pour your water into it. Polycarbonates do not leak into your water. My husband built a water stand, and he bought a container that we keep on our water stand, you get them at organic grocery stores. Then we just pour water from it as needed into a polycarbonated bottle we got from bed bath and beyond.
Don't buy bottled water - it's a total waste and no better than tap water:

Simply buy a reuseable water bottle for a couple of bucks (same as a few bottles of Aquafina) and refill it from the tap. Or if you're worried about water quality or want colder water, do what I do and get a Britta or PUR water filter pitcher to keep in the fridge, then fill up the water bottles from that.
You'll save yourself a load of money in the long run, save a lot of wasted energy from transporting water around, and probably be giving your familiy cleaner water. Bottled water has very lax regulations.
If you are worried about the plastic bottles, the try to find water that comes in glass. Every brand pretty much uses the same kind of plastic to make the bottles. It's not neccessarly the heat thats bad for the plastic but direct sunlight.
Rather than plastic, look for a stainless steel reusable water bottle. Make sure they are steel both in and out (not lined with plastic inside). They won't break like glass or leach like plastic. A simple search on google will help you find one.
I use a polycarbonate bottle such as a Nalgene bottle. I wash it and refill it daily with tap water. They make some really cute bottles now that your daughter may like carrying.
Get a Nalgene and fill it with your own water. You want to make sure to filter your water though. Use a Britta filter etc. Nalgenes are great for camping and cab be used as a hot water bottle safely.
note: plastic is made of hydrocarbons, it is a synthetic polymer (most types) and therefore derived from oil/natural resources like oil.
Forget bottled water and use a refillable container and use tap water. You can buy a water purification system if you don't like the taste of your tap. All plastic bottles leak contaminants. I use alloy bottles that you can get from companies like sigg.com.
the cheap stuff is the same as the expensive stuff so buy cheap
