Do you think owning a hydro-carbon powered echo-vehicle is good for the environment?
Answer:
Ah, a graduate of the school of Beck, I see.
I don't know what an echo vehicle is, but being as it is powered by hydrocarbons...or oil... I would say its environmental impact is based on the fuel efficiency of the vehicle.
I don't know about echo-vehicles. Do they repeat a sound until it dies away. Oh I bet you meant "ECO". silly me.
Do you mean a Toyota Echo? They are pretty good on fuel, you do less damage to the environment per mile of driving over a larger car. But they are still an internal combustion engine so they will never be "good for the environment", just better than most alternatives.
All vehicles are hydro-carbon powered (unless they are steam). Eco-friendly vehicles typically run partially on batteries and partially on fuel. (some on battery only)
Typically you dont get the milage that they say you do, and you are still burning hyrdo-carbons. So, while it is idealistic to be eco-friendly, you really aren't doing alot. But its better than regular fuel only..
If you really want to be eco-friendly, ride a bike.
If it has a DVD player, i'm in!
