Globally, how much do zoos cost annually?

Hi. I'm trying to find out how the costs of ex situ and in situ conservation compare, and basically what I'd ideally like to know is;
* What is the total cost (both gross and net) of all the zoos in the world each year?
* What is the total cost of all the in situ wildlife projects annually?
* How many animals can each of the above two serve - i.e. what are the relative costs?

Although these are what I ideally want to know, any other information people have would be useful.

Thanks!

Answer:
It would probably be wisdom to contact the PR department of a popular zoo. Each zoo has its own budget, some of them are funded by local taxes and funds raised from patrons. Same for in situ wild life grounds and sanctuaries.
I cannot imagine how much methane they put in the atmosphere, but it must be a factor in global warming.
There is no way to know. There are so many small production zoos, sanctuaries, and shelters for zoo type animals there is no way to calculate the cost of these put together. Especially on a global scale.
