Why can you not take rocks from State Parks?

I live in Az I i was wondering why we are can't take rocks from like Sedona and surrounding areas. I mean It's not like we were grabbing a huge Boulder.

Answer:
Imagine the impact on the physical environment there if everyone took a rock. You begin to strip away elements that collectively provide habitat and future soil material for that area.

Aside from the fact that many so-called "souvenirs" actually have habitat value, it's also a case of trying to manage an area so that when your kids or subsequent generations visit the area it will appear the same because the same resources are still present on site.

Leave only footprints, take only memories.
Because its national property ,it belongs to everybody ,and it will ruin the eco-system !
State parks are state property not the peoples, thats why the state controls use. The ranger will tell you that if everyone took rocks all the rocks would be gone. put a people in shoe an dbe quite.
