Tell her that if she doesn't care, then the Earth's temperature will rise to the point that the polar ice caps will melt and flood all of the coastal line and vegetation throughout the world will be destroyed. Then we will all die a horrible, excruciating death of starvation, misery, and baking heat! Have a nice day :)
You can't cpntrol others. Do what you know is right and pray for the ones you know is wrong.
Go to the library and get the June, 2007 issue of National Geographic magazine with the "Big Thaw" feature story on its cover. Show your cousin Page 61, and read what it says about global warming. It's very hard having close friends and family be so stubborn in their ignorance towards out environmental issues when we ourselves care so much. My sis-in-law is one of the most wasteful people I know and it drives me crazy! All you can do with the sruuborn ones is show by example and keep trying to educate them on a level that they will understand. The truth is that they just won't care till it hits home and then it'll hurt and they'll wisen up. I don't know how old your cousin is but try to talk to her about what she cares about and then connect that to the issue of our environment.
You CAN do it! She'll appreciate you more for caring so much too.

show him/her what the wnviroment does for you and what happens when you hurt the environment like trees and oxogen or the fish in the sea and the high ways and cars what happens when you dont talke care of this world that we live in..i am huge into the enviroment but most my friends and family could care less it hurts thay say well we are all gong to die anywas bt i whant to live a long healty life and you cant do that without a good enviroment ...i whant my kids an dgrand kids to see a awsome world like me and they will not see that if we dont take care of that...<3

I suggest you go back even further to the early seventies when "all the scientists agreed that the earth was getting cooling and we were headed for another Ice Age".
Yes the temperature of the planet is rising, but so is the temperature of the rest of the planets in the Universe. So tell me are we humans responsible for the climate change on those planets as well? The first clue that there is a problem with the whole global warming theory is that we are being told there is a consensus of "a majority of scientists". Do the research and you will find that there are just as many if not more that say this is nothing more than a crock of sh**. It ain't real folks.

well at least one of you has some sense. i care about the environment, like i don't cut down trees to see which way they will fall, but i have cut them down for fire wood. they make nice warm fires. i don't throw my trash along side the road, but to put it all in a garbage can so it can be put in a landfill. i am sure according to some they would say i don't care, but the reality is i do i just refuse to be a extremist, and acknowledge that global warming is a big threat.

How old is she? You should let her watch: The Day After Tomorrow. It's a really good movie and hopefully it will change your cousin's attitude to the environment. Tell her that's is will happen to the world is you don't change your bad habits.

i think people like that are worst than murderers,if killing humans or animals is a crime as well as a grave sin, what more on killing this earth, the environment, it will even create a domino effect on the destructions of life.
tell wat he eats comes from environment be it veg or non veg because environment has it own wonderful cycle
rain gives water to vegetation vegetation provides food to both animals and insects whose wastes make land fertile which give healty fruits and through which man is able to live till date but i hate poeple who know the realty but they dont to accept it and take it joke.if he still refuses tell him to stop eating and drinking coz its given by nature and environment.
