Global warming is it really upon us?

Are there still people out there that do not see the signs? The internet provides us with all the info we need! The Ice caps are melting, glaciers wasting away, strange weather patterns! Do people actually think we can just keep putting toxins into the atmosphere and that there will be no consequences! It seems like common sense to me! So i guess my real question is, who believes that we need to take better care of our planet? and who is willing to?

Dear Gypsy, You have got your estimations 100% ccorrect! You can see what is going on around you and you know that we are in serious trouble while others play the game of the Ostrich sticking its head in the sand to hope it will all go away and then they can aimlessly strut along as usual. Well, it is not going to go away because I live in England in a small, semi rural town in East Lancashire called Darwen. The only worse weather we can expect here is perhaps a severe thunderstorm after long periods of hot weather but now people have died this very week in serious flooding in which a dam is badly damaged in Yorkshire and they fear it could breach at any time. Last week, we had a twister ground itself in our town but it miraculously missed buildings and did not kill anyone but the noise and howling wind was terrifying. We do not get twisters like that in this country and,even today, the rain is pelting down like billy-oh. Leave the doubters to their own devices, Gypsy, because they will only pooh pooh you no matter what you say but no one lives forever and mother nature is seriously pissed off with us and, like, other species that have become extinct, we may just be the next although human kind is arrogant enough to believe that he is chosen to be the dominant species. When we go we go and there isn't a god damned thing we can do about it.
Im afraid so.. Im willing to and doing so right now..

Up here in Canada, the winter came a month to late and we kinda skipped spring and went to summer! I'm willing to start small and change, but there's no point if only one person changes, so thats why we need someone to step up and post laws that FORCE people to change!
i don't think anyone really cares ,since all people think about is the here and now. i care but what can i do?
Even if you're willing to take care of it, other people are not. Get a life and get over it. Even if there IS global warming there is no evidence on who or what causes it. All in all, the sun causes global warming. That's all. The other factors are too complicated for anyone to understand.
Hey leo.Up here in Canada we didn't skip nothing.Our seasons this year were on time and fairly normal with maybe above average rainfall.And the only thing we should "FORCE" anyone to do would be to read this
