I don't believe in the global warming idea, I reckon it's just a phase the Earth is going through.
Maybe one day we'll get another ice age and the bods will shut their gobs about melting ice caps. Who knows.

No just our usual English weather never consistent.
No it's the council that can't do their jobs properly, the drainage system don't help. When was the last time you saw a truck pumping the drains out.? The roads are a disgrace with pot holes all over the place. global warming plays a big part, but isn't totally to blame. The councils don't care about the state of their communities, they are going to ruin.

I think this weather is kind of a warning to us that if we don't do something soon. The winters that we have will be hundred times worse then they are now (wet windy and miserable). And in summers will be more (hot and dry) that will cause droughts there will be changing weather patterns that could bring more severe thunderstorms, tornado's and maybe hurricanes will be stronger.
This summer may be a little horrible but just think what would winter be like this year? It could be a hundred times worse then it is now.

Probably. Hotter weather over the atlantic results in greater evaporation which creates more clouds. It aims itself at Britain as per usual but there is more of it so more rain and floods.
God help us if the Gulf Stream switches off as the rain would become snow and we would have to live very differently.

Look at all the other peculiar weather conditions in the world at the moment. I'm glad I decided not to go to Greece for a holiday as its 46C at the moment.

No not really but a bit yes. Truth is somewhere out there and might include the fact that the UK is still suffering some aftershocks of Tony Blair's premacy. Mid summer was indeed 21 June and some of us are working hard to live with the heat - we almost hit 40C today but it has been a sudden hit this year instead of a slower build up. The weather is still very unsettled for late June early July and that is all down to the Azores summer high pressure zone not becoming strong and stable this year as also in a few past years. Now the question is why the Azores high isnt building and that, my friend is something I am still working on. Global warming or to be more correct climate change is happening for sure. In my mind there is no doubt. I know many ways to try and combat climate change but your question is all about what we can put down to climate change and what not. That is something even the best scientists in the world cant answer, we can only express an opinion.

I think we're running low on oil, so the government has come up with this great idea about a global warming threat to our planet (because we all love a good cause) to stop us using our cars until they gain control of the Iraqi oil fields. Once the Iraqi oil is in Western hands, there will be an official announcement that it's now okay to use our cars because they don't affect the planet after all.
Obviously not because here it's warm and sunny.
Yes it is to blame. Even over my lifetime there has been a dramatic change which isnt solely down to the tilt of the earth- that takes millennia so dont use that satnd by folks
