Where do you stand on global warming?

There are so many weather disasters happening all over the
world and records been broken monthly as predicted, by
too many people too mention.
where do you stand is it global warming or
the natural cycle of world climate change?

Answer:
We exploited this planet for far too long and now when it can't take anymore no one gives a damn. The ones that do give a damn are far too little in numbers. Most of my country's land is transforming into a desert and the govt doesn't even care. Their sollution is to import more cereals and veggies. If people don't get organized in mass numbers the whole thing is gonna get worse and the main enemy is greed and envy. The outlook's grim so we better start getting used to it.
at the moment im cool with global warming, where i live its kinda getting nicer, but i think pollution should stop or decrease global warming or not, but i also think if stuff like bans on big polluting companies happen many people will be out of jobs, Im really at a cross roads with this.
Climate change is the correct term for what people call global warming. There is irrefutable evidence that man's activities over past years has changed the atmosphere and has led to a change in the balanced greenhouse effect we need to survive on this planet. With no greenhouse effect we could not exist here. As the effect gets stronger as it has now, we will experience more intense weather events as the basic mechanisms of weather respond to a higher energy input. There is always a natural cycle of hot/cold, dry/wet but many extreme events can be attributed in part to the probable cause called "man induced climate change" (scientifically we cannot make the definitive statement). We know that we can change our lifestyles and change the way our industries affect the environment in a cost effective way so we can still enjoy the good things we want but at a lower environmental cost.

Enjoy each day as if it were your last.
Treat the environment as if you will live forever.
Global warming is a dangerous condition every one individually feels and does nothing. Every body wishes to have more than 1 car, all air conditioned room, fridge - double or triple door, daily pumping out a lot of ground water just for pleasure of bath and swim - and many many more - all boilers either coal fired or wood fired or furnace oil - whatever it may be - everyone spoils the air and atmosphere. Forest land is diminishing, .. I DON'T DENY I AM ALSO CONTRIBUTING TO GLOBAL WARMING? you??
In these matters I suggest following the money trail.
The same people who are profiting out of causing the problems are profiting from the hysteria
I would have to say that it is cyclic
Follow the money trail
the Mega-Rich are pushing both barrows
Its a crock and its hurting everyone.

take a glass of ice watter filled to the brim.
when the ice melts, dose the glass overflow?
no. it stays at the same level.
So why then are they saying that IF the icecaps are melting,
It will flood everything!
cuz they arnt thinking.
2. the earth used to have a watter table around it.
it is what made the oxygen rich enough to suport dinosours beacuse they had smaller lungs that didnt survive after the Great Flood* and created holes in the atmosphere where the watter came from. those are the holes in the ozone layer.
As far as temp changes and whatnot.
Check the farmers almanac. its been a huge cycle of great to horid weather over the centries.
Also check the calander and the bible. it is getting closer, that COULD**. be what that is..

how is the whole thing hurting us?
well. Ethinol for one.
It takes corn to make.
at the rate there going to save the enviroment. (while he (Gore) is also trying to get billions more in oil from overseas cheaper)
The price of corn skyrocketed already. that is bad. real bad. for poorer people more. beacuse its going to cost more to by anything with corn in it. (corn surup, corn starch, etc.) thats not good for anyone or any economy.
yeah, lets use less oil, it dose polute, thats never good. but look at solar and hydro and nuke power.(not for cars or homes of course) but you get my point.
The weather is to do with Climate Variability there has never been a link established with Global Warming.
The NASA scientists who determined that Solar activity didn't explain Global Warming, stated in 1998 that the high energy light was absorbed in the upper atmosphere causing warming up there not at the surface. They claimed that these solar cycles were directly responsible for Climate Variation because of what they did to upper atmospheric winds.
Records for low temperatures are broken as well, there is no discernible pattern. Nor would you expect one, regardless of the cause of warming.
For the record I suspect that a warmer upper atmosphere will impact on the way heat leaves the lower atmosphere.
As for Fossil fuels it wouldn't hurt to clean up our act, particularly in regards to heat absorbing particulates like soot from transport and fires. (pun intended)
You may be surprised how much difference that would make without touching CO2.
The globe has been warming for the last 6000 to 10000 years, ever since the last Ice Age. It's all part of the global climatic cycle. I think it's important to protect our environment and as global citizens we should do all we can.

But to say that man is the cause is a bunch of !@#$%&*. Do we help it along? Sure we do. But not to the extent that the media and certain former VPs would have you believe.
the fact that people who think man-made climate change is real, yet reject opposing views out of hand, tells me that it is a absolute lie..it's really quite obvious, it's bogus beyond belief.
What worries me is not so much the possibility of oceans rising at the rate of 3-4 millimeters per year but rather the knee jerk remedies being proposed to a process that supposedly began 250 years ago. These include stifling US commerce and industry more than it already is so that China and India can overtake us quicker, and the possibility of slashing food grain production in favor of fuel grain farming. Plus the loony fads of bans on safe pesticides on what agriculture is left, and even proposals to end the consumption of meat products altogether.
The current global warming began as a "natural cycle" as we've been coming out of the last ice age. Since the Industrial Revolution and particularly since about 1960, global warming has accelerated.

Scientists can't account for this warming with just natural causes. They simply don't account for sufficient radiative forcing to have caused the recent acceleration in warming. When they factor in greenhouse gases to their models, climate scientists find that greenhouse gases have accounted for 70-95% of the recent global warming.

The evidence is strong enough to convince most climate scientists, and it's strong enough to convince me that humans are the primary cause of the recent warming, and that we need to stop accelerating soon it or we're going to face some very nasty consequences.
it is still real nice to keep our envoirment clean and nice looking. But I do not believe in Global Warming, all cause of back in the day they thought Global Freezing was going on so,why should I believe that when they all said that we were gonna die in 10 years, well I sure didnt'.So I do not believe.
