What things are you doing to go green?

Answer:
I'm vegan, my husband is vegetarian
I breastfeed, cloth diaper, and co-sleep with my son
we don't shop at wal mart
we get our clothes from thrift stores, or I make them from found materials
We take "combat showers" - get in, get wet (turn off water), soap up, rinse off, get out.
we shop at farmers' markets for fruits/veggies
we grow some of our own veggies
we take tote bags with us instead of using paper/plastic when we do shop
turn off the faucet when brushing teeth
use a pan filled with water to dunk sponge when washing dishes instead of filling the whole sink or constantly running the water
no paper towels - real towels instead
no feminine hygeine items - cloth napkins instead
no nose tissues - hankies instead
no baby wipes - cloth wipes instead...
we live in a 250 sq ft home - we use an average of one 40 watt bulb at a time.
we keep the ac at 76 degrees on energy saver, only on the hot days.

there's many many other things, but those are the main ones I can think of
Putting computer in standby or "sleep" mode when not using it.

but thats to save money not to go "green"
I changed all my light bulbs last year - now I have a cupboard full of unwanted ordinary bulbs. (Any suggestions?)

Another thing, maybe not so 'green' but it's certainly 'animal welfare'; I started getting organic butter, yogurt and milk. I just hope the farmers are kinder to their cows - not stuffing them with hormones? (Anybody know anything about this?)
I am a vegetarian

I drive less than I used to

I use reusable coffee mugs instead of getting the styrofoam ones...
I am driving to the train station to take the train into work.
I recycle aluminum, newspaper, and plastic. I take my own bag to the grocery store and re-use any other bags which I get. I take hangers back to the cleaners. I re-use glass when possible because there isn't a glass recycler within an hour of us. I compost. I open the windows instead of running the a/c at home. I ride my bike instead of taking the car when I go someplace in my neighborhood. I combine longer errands so that I don't have to drive across town as much. I use CFL's. I freecycle unwanted items rather than throwing them away and donate magazines to the local retirement apartments. I BookCross all my books.

Today I plan to look for a paper/cardboard recycler because my town doesn't have a drop-off center for these. Also, because of the Yahoo checklist I did the other day, I realized I need to cancel "subscriptions" to catalogs which always end up in the trash.

There are probably more things, but these are the ones I could think of that we do on a regular basis.
smaller cars and more walking
saving on lights and water and gas.
not using more then i haft to on things what wast time and money.
well lets see. i use less water, i walk more often, changed some lighbulbs, recycle paper, turn off light when not in use, recycle grocery bags for other uses. wash clothes in cold water.
Drinking Mountain Dew! Other than that, just kicking back watching the insanity of the green craze
I open my window when It gets hot instead of using the air conditioner.
I recycle my plastics, bottles and cans.
Feeding the sparrows and squirrels.
I choose paper over plastic.
Growing fruits in my back yard.
using less electricty
i'm vegan, i recycle, compost and use compacted florescent bulbs.
