The headlines we read is so depressing, yet the media just saps the **** out of world affairs. You can't comment, talk, not even have intercourse for the fear of being nailed. I don't have any fight left. The public seems to have more common sense then the politics..(<that's turning into a bad word). Our governing rule is just covering ***,and,forgot,asswipe?

The purpose of the exaggeration and hyperbole is to get your attention and sell newspapers and magazines and to get you to watch tv and listen to radio.

As the level of exaggeration and hyperbole increases you lose your sensitivity to it.

The owners of the media have to step it up to a new level to get your attention back.

Essentially the news media is really entertainment media and is a money making machine.

They only make money if they can get your attention.

I recommend that you ignore most of the nonsense that you see and hear in the media.

Most of it is either not true or contains so little truth that it is not worth the waste of your time.

Ignore? When the price of freedom is eternal vigilance? But what good is eternal vigilance if we do nothing but sit around? Has the government replaced the chains around our necks?
