How can saving the water supply helps to reduce global warming?
Answer:
It takes energy to pump and purify water. However the amount of energy that you save is so small that the amount of reduction in emission of carbon dioxide is insignificant.
You should save water for other reasons, however you cannot save enough water to have any effect on Global Warming.
don't who cares if we all die?we're all gonna some day anywayz, and i say its just anoter fake thing to get people worried so don't worrie everything is gonna be fine i promise.
:)
I'm not sure what "green" person said that, but saving water will not help global warming.
Global warming is mostly caused by the emissions of fuel, mixing with the atmosphere and creating a greenhouse effect. Saving water is very noble and worthy, but won't put a dent in global warming unless a means for people to travel from one place to another is made more efficient.
NO effect at all. Global warming is about Carbons and such elements in the air, keeping the heat in.
NASA is building a Fire Truck Space Shuttle that will have a long hose attached to it. Then the firenaughts will walk in space and squirt water on the earth to help cool it down to reverse Global warming So that is why we need to save water.
As Mike pointed out, it takes considerable energy to maintain a public water supply system. Any conservation that you can manage will help to decrease negative impact on the environment, regardless of global warming.
Nobody ever said that
We should save water because there is so little we are on the brink of a global water shortage
In Mexico people are forced to drink contaminated water ,with a whole range or ailments as a result ,because if they dont they will die of thirst as there is no alternative.
India, China And Africa are having the same problems.
Here is a distribution table to explain how little water is for us to drink 75% of that is in the ice ,And a lot of this ice is now melting and running into the sea ,changing the good sweet water to salt water.
25% of the planets surface is land
75%of the surface is salt water and it is rising
------------------------------...
97%of the Earths water is salt
fresh water is only 3% of all the Earths water
most of it is beyond out reach
now much ice is melting and running into the seas fresh water lost for ever.
STORAGE or Location of % of the fresh water
ice and glaziers 74%
groundwater 800 meters + 13.5 %
groundwater less than 800meters 11.o%
Lakes 0.3%
soils 0.006%
Atmospheric in circulation 0.0035%
rivers 0.03%
frozen land or permafrost is not included and represent an unavailable storage of 40%
so of the 3% about 11.6 ,is easily available to us ,in rivers, lakes and ground water surface aquifers, more and more of this is becoming contaminated
In these matters I suggest following the money trail.
The same people who are profiting out of causing the problems are profiting from the hysteria
I would have to say that it is cyclic
Follow the money trail
