What is the best encounter you've had with nature or wild animals?
Answer:
That's a great story, you're lucky to have experienced that, and a good person to treat the robin so nicely =)
A story of mine - I was walking down a path at the beach with family and nearly bumped into this huge pelican walking the opposite way, I could've easily pet it. Those birds are amazing and its the closest I've ever been to one. I hope to have more opportunities to get closer to them and other wildlife since thats the area in which I want to work, and am studying towards.
A wild cottontail rabbit had her babies in a flower pot on my deck. It was wonderful to be able to watch them grow and finally hop off to become big bunnies. It was significant that the mama trusted us enough to feel safe on the deck.
wow. thats awesome!
- well on a visit to sea world san antonio. they have this huge tank with dolphins, where you can feed them what not. well i had a chance to touch the dolphin, it was a beautiful dolphin, he keep on swiming around and around, and would stop right in front of me. and i got a chance to pet him quite a few times. it was wonderful!
We had a mama rabbit and babies living under our spruce tree in the front yard. We would feed them lettuce and carrots and could within about 3 feet of the tree if we were quiet and didn't make any sudden noises. My brother and I got to observe how the mama took very good care of her babies and watched the little rabbits get bigger. It was almost like having pet rabbits! Once the babies left the nest the mama rabbit left too, but I'll never forget her.
