i live in hull and the roads and paths are completely filled with water and my back garden is 2 feet under water!! some of the major roads in hull are waist deep in water! Is it the same anywhere else in the uk

We live near Beverley but my uncle lives in Hessle, he is totally flooded out too. He's lost his power, and his house is full of dirty water. Our kid's school is closed but that is OK because, we have waist high water at the end of our lane so we cant drive up it anyway.
It has eased off this morning but our lane is still flooded so I am going to get the canoe out and have a look what is happening.
What are doing on the internet while this is happening? Go take care of things or clear on out.
