Will we get any sort of summer this year in the UK ?

Answer:
THE HOTTEST EVER !!
Yes, I have it on good authority it is going to be the second wednesday in August, so get up early, take the day off, get your shorts out..thats the day.
Just get ready for it, dont blink however or you may miss it fo this year.
i hope so... :( its been raining none stop and i got my prom on friday... the weather needs to cheer up a bit!!
Were supposed to have the hottest summer since records began back in the early 1800's. BUT whether that gonna actually happen noone knows..
we had our summer back in April and May cant you remember thats it now till maybe end of september
i hope so, I'm going to silverstone in just over 2 weeks, we are camping. at this rate I'm thinking of getting a boat to row up the motorway!
dont be silly we had it in April where were you? and you know we have 2 weeks of rain to come as wimbledon starts today.
NOOOO!
it wont stop raining
Over the last few years the weather in the UK seems to have changed quite noticebly. All the seasons are starting and finishing later than they usually should (it was snowing in some places well into march).

I'm hoping it doesn't have something to do with pollution but I would not shun that idea as it's all very strange.

Yes its been very cold and rainy for June which is unusual, when the sun does come out its for about 2 to 3 days then its cold and wet again.

Like I said I feel there is a shift in the seasons, summer will come but it will be late possibly the latter half of july and ending well into september.
We have already had this year's hot weather - back in April
its also the same here in east coast amercia, its very cool for summer and it rains at least 2 times every week. I dont really have a pronlem with it though i kinda like the coolness.
Nooo the cats are making it rain....
How is the current weather in the slightest unusual for the UK? I've lived in London for eight years now and every year summer doesn't really hit until July. Wimbledon tends to be the end of the rainy season. The only difference is that we've had LESS rain than usual, as we had a very nice April. Stop complaining people, or you're obviously living in the wrong country!
Yes, one that is wet and cloudy.
