Water about Australia?
do you think water is useful?
what do you think about it?
Answer:
Umm we kinda cant live without water! We cant clean ourselves, or the plates we cook with, the clothes that we wear, water the plants that provide us with the air that we breathe and the food that we grow not only to eat, but to feed the animals that we eat as well. shall i go on?? After all, Australia prides itself on its farming exports... if we dont have that, we dont have much to keep ourselves as a first world country!
I guess its important cos we have elections comming up. and Queensland is in a bit if a predicament.. most of them are surviving off of tank water which isnt sterile/clean. Their reserves are really low, and there are a lot of farms up there... especially tropical fruit like pinapples, bannanas, etc are all only grown there. there are many more issues but i think they are the main ones.
As for my thoughts, i think that the greenhouse effect that we are creating through the combustion of fossil fuels is a larger issue. the more we heat up this planet with global warming, the more likely it is that humanity wont be able to survive the next 50 years. Water is a current threat so we are focusing on that. wait another 20 years when we are all developing lung cancer from all the crap in the air! (along with all the other complications. water shortage is just the begining of global warming)
the dams Australia are very low at the moment ...
Cant answer your question properly because I just don't get it
Of course water is useful. It is,in fact, essential. Australia is obviously generally a low rainfall area, essentially a desert apart from a few coastal regions. Water has to be conserved and managed properly because without it, there will be no more Australia, no agriculture , industry or people.
This sounds very much like a homework assignment.
Water is an important issue in Australia due to it being a necessity for human life, agriculture, natural ecosystems etc. It is the most important issue in Australia due the amount of available and potable water reducing. There are also changing perceptions in what rights and responsibilities people/ industry and the environment have to water. Relatively little is known, or rather has being experienced since written records, about water/seasonal cycles occurring in Australia.
Um... I think it's complicated and issues relating to water are often approached with band aid solutions, rather than long term and dynamic goals.
Hi Kawaii. Your questions are kawaii! Because water is very scarce nowadays in OZ. Yes water is useful. I think water is useful because granted all living organisms are made FROM water. ;)
