Solar blanket should warm the water during the day and keep warmth in on cool nights. May I suggest keeping safety in mind? A cover of whatever type that is strong enough to hold a child or pet instead of them falling in and drowning might be worth some extra cash. There are also alarms, but I haven't tried one. A solar blanket will heat the water slightly. Alot of people use bubble wrap and cover the water it has increased surface area exposed to the sun and acts almost like a lens
