Given the choice between organic produce and conventionally grown foods, which do you select?

Although organic food is more expensive, I tend to purchase these foods because of health choices, in terms of pesitcides or hormones. I don't care about cost, you should always purchase the best foods.
There is always a choice, and organic is by far safer. Even if it isnt as bright or big, its not tainted with chemicals that eventually will alter our DNA and make us nuts or sick!

organic usually tastes much better, so I will try it. sometimes it doesn't, then I go back to non-organic for that food ... for instance I haven't ever eaten a good organic pineapple. regular is much better, imho.
cost is a big factor especially when we all know that organic food is cheaper to produce... so why does it cost more...just like bottled water... how uncaring is one when the cost to produce. ship and disposal of toxic plastic bottles will stay with us for about 100 years or is that diapers ... side note the organic/natural waste produced by a person is enough to produce the foodstuff natural fertilizer that that persons needs for foodstuffs that year. go figure

organic is my preffered choice, but often when I am strapped for cash I go back to the conventionally grown foods. No matter how organic and good to our bodies we want to be it always go back to survival . If you don't have the money then you have to buy what you can afford. When I have extra $ I buy organic and treat myself. I always buy organic eggs and milk though.
Taste is the deciding factor. We buy organic milk because it tastes better. And some other products too, mostly because of better taste.
Honestly, cost is the biggest factor for me. If all things were equal, I'd buy the organic produce.
Well, cost does play a role for me but I don't think cost has ever been a prohibitive factor in not buying produce unless it was just an outrageous price in general. There are some things that I've never thought about buying organic, such as melons, pineapples, mangoes, and papayas. It's just never crossed my mind with those, although I'll buy organic apples, bananas, and other produce. Most times, the deciding factor is I'll buy at the fresh produce stand not too far from my house as I like their produce, prices, and their small local operation, but that decides a lot of what I get and where it comes from. Aside from produce, I have to have organic ground beef these days as waaay better and although I really like other organic meats, the price differences are a bit more cost prohibitive than produce.
