Why so many flies ?

I have the same bloody problem......you know what it is, it's the fortnightly bin collection, the bloody stupid idea the council set up. Bloody disgusting!

I live in the willamette valley of Oregon and and 5-10 years ago a farmer a few miles away decided to use fish remains to fertilize his farmland and my environmental science instructor said he got tons of flies at his home. No, he wasn't the farmer just be clear.
Or it could be just warm weather causing increase in reproduction rates.

I have had a lot in the summer. I find that just before a rain or when there is a lot of humidity. If there is old food from cats/dogs or straw from animals it seems to attract them. there is a fantastic product called Victor fly magnet. It comes in little sachets. I find it extremly hard to find. If they still make it it is non toxic and kills flys by the hundreds.
Whether is related with flies. Heat attracts flies and i have also killed about 20 flies.
Thats funny cause my mom is in the kitchen right now saying the same thing, dont know why their are so many
