What's the reason they're here??
What are woodchucks good for? How about racoons? What about opossums? What the heck is the purpose of a monkey? Why are there so many species of birds?
Feel free to comment about any other things you know the reason about.
(I saw a dead racoon on the side of the road today, and I just wondered.)
Answer:
'Everything is here is for a reason' is really just a theory by man. It's most likely true, but not proven. The animals you mention above, especially when they're young, are food for hawks, eagles, owls, coyote.
Bees need their stinger as a defense against attacks. Who attacks bees? Believe it or not, it's been real dry here in Ohio and where I've always seen Robins feeding on worms I saw one chasing down a bee for food twice last week. I'm sure bees aren't their first choice for diet, but they can't reach the worms with the group so dry. The Robin won, but it took a lot of diligence on it's part and seemed to know the bee had a stinger.

The animals are here because they evolved to the point where they were able to exploit a niche in the environment and survive.
They do not have a purpose or reason for being here.
