Why do people throw garbage out the car window...?

I absolutley loathe it! It's irritating because I know surely they don't behave like that in their homes. Surely they wouldn't finish a candy bar and stuff it in the couch or throw it on the floor! It's just pure laziness. If anything, keep a grocery sack in the back seat of your car and dispose of your "car trash" in that, and when the bag is full, throw the bag in the dumpster at home. Sheesh.

I feel the same way you do about this one.You ask why because they are to lazy to clean there car out that's really the only answer to this one.They get in to big of a hurry and think hmm no ones looking here goes.I cleaned my car out today it was at the car wash it took a mear 5 mins to do.I hate the whole cigarette one myself.Really people clean up your lazy act.
^I hate when they do that also. What about the people who throw their garbage on the sidewalk, I wish more fines would be given out it's disgusting. Kill is kinda strong, but I would like to ring there necks.
I hate to see litter bugs. Why would people want to live in a world with garbage in the streets and everywhere? I pick up fast food garbage, beer bottles etc. that have been tossed on the side of my yard all the time. It never ends. Littering fines should be increased to help slow down the littering of thoughtless people who just don't care.
It upsets me too.
As for why they do it.
The short simple answer would be because theyre stupid.
A more correct answer would probably be because they failed to learn to be responsible for their own actions and/or because they dont care about anyone but themselves.

They have no regard for other people or the environment. They also have bad manners and their parents are to blame.
I hate littering and taught my children to never throw trash out the car windows. To date, their cars look like a garbage dump, but they don't litter. I can't understand why people litter! Such an eyesore to the beautiful landscapes!
