Do squirrels explode?

This is gotta be the most dummest thing i ever asked but, here's what i saw. okay i saw a dead squirrel 4 days ago. on the first day it was just dead laying there. on the 2nd day, it was moved 2 yards to a different place, on the 3rd day i saw it it was still there, but when i went back 2-4 hours later, the squirrel's body parts were everywhere. blodd was everywhere. I thought an eagle ate it, or some idiots used some explosives or a gun. i was gonna build a squirrel coffin, because i thought it was a kewl idea, but know its body parts are everywhere. my friend said that squirrels can explode. is this true??? i am the most gullible person in the world.

Answer:
lol, no, but they can swell up a lot after the die and go stiff, and if you hit it with something, or use a firecracker, then it might have some spraying or exploding effect.
I've never heard this but maybe the gases building up in it's little cadaver built up too much and POP! Just a thought.

Then again, maybe some animal got a hold of it and played with it.
Only the most extremist of them. Was it wearing a belt with tiny explosives?

It's death might have been a political statement.
Okay the squirrel must have been t-boned by a car on the street for it to keep moving and as the body was continually getting runover it exploded by the makers of ford tires and 2tons of automobile parts squishing over top of it. Not all by itself.
Was it in the street??
No squirrels do not explode. you say that the second day you noticed it was moved that tells me that another animal possibly a scavenger bird probably picked it for food. I bet a car drove by scared the bird. Then another animal that was bigger had ripped it apart. Some animals will fight for it and that could be the reason you saw it's body parts scattered all over the place.
car ran over it probably
I have seen them bloat up and spew before, but not explode.
They certainly explode when I hit them with a .223 hollow point round, but I suspect that some scavenger got to it.
