Can I use my reusable cloth grocery bag in any store even if it has another store's logo?

I recently purchased a cloth grocery bag from Trader Joe's and another one from Whole Foods. The store logo is printed large on each bag (I didn't have a choice).

Can I use these bags in other stores (such as Meijer's or Target or anywhere else) even though they have other store names printed on them.

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question. I am really shy and if some store manager told me I couldn't use my bag in their store I would be really embarassed - (but I wouldn't shop there again, either).

Has anyone been told they couldn't use another store's bag in a different store?

Answer:
no, and i wouldnt frequent any store that did if this is important to you. (it is to me, too) i'm always giving back plastic bags back to the cashier and putting things together. always say 'thank you but i brought my own bag',,,you'll feel so good.
Yeah, your saving the store money (cost of plastic bag) and the envirorment.
You certainly can! I did alot of shopping at a store called Aldi's and you had to either buy the plastic or paper bags or bring your own...so, I always saved my plastic grocery bags anyway and ended up using them every time I took a trip to Aldi's. The store folks don't care what is on the bag you bring is...you go right ahead and use them...some stores take a small amount (such as 5 cents) off your bill for each bag you reuse...so bringing your own canvas bags not only save the store money but they may also save you money as well...Don't worry about "feeling weird" there is absolutely nothing weird about it! Kudos to you!
I would until someone says something to you.you certainly can't get arrested for it
Of course you can.
Absolutely. You're saving money for the other stores by not using their bags!
hell yeah sweety. i do it all the time :P

they dont say anything...
If management were manning the registers it might be a different story, but the clerks ringing you up don't care. You might be a bit self-conscious but you can turn it around by asking if they carry their own reusable bag. If they do, maybe you can add it to your collection. Stores that promote this practice should be rewarded with free advertising, don't you think?

No, no one has every said anything to me. I use my Trader Joe bag all the time. I have a lot of generic tote bags too, but the TJ bag holds the most.
of course you can, you will only use to pack your groceries in it, the only time anyone would see it is while you are walking out the door, right?
anyhow if they make a stink, turn the bag inside out.
You can use anything you want to use. I would be amazed if anyone said anything to you about it, because it is none of their business. The bag is your property and you can use it anywhere you want to. You can wear it on your head if you want.
My cloth bag, a big one,
says Traveler's Insurance, and Farmers doesn't say a word. If anybody says anything to you, tell the manager and make a fuss. You're doing a sevice for the earth, be proud.
I would use them at any store...If you want a bag with a generic logo that does not have any stores name on it go to yourownbags.com
I use mine anywhere I go. If they don't like the advertising of the other company I'll take my business elsewhere. So far not a problem.
me too! trader joes bags, then i found some others at another store, i use them at krogers, or anywhere else.we did however write our last name in each with a sharpie. so we know what we came into the store with... just the other day while at krogers with my hubby. we had our joes bags. the bagger was there, and i said if u dont mind i can bag our own stuff. these bags can hold a lot of weight, not just a box of straws, and a single apple!he moved over and still helped, but followed mu directons as to which items go with which.. meat only bag, fruit only bag, everything else together. no one complained the bagger even said he liked the reusable bags better too!!
