What can you do NOW for the highest good of all in order to make the world better ?

i have MANY.
-walk more places or take the bus
*- USE FLOURESCENT LIGHTS
*-recycle
-get hybrid cars (expensive, but you save money in the long run)
- only buy recycled prouducts
-make sure you dont waste water, electricity, or paper
-ยท Turn off the lights when you leave a room. Use fluorescent bulbs in your room.
-take shorter showers
-keep air filters and air conditioning clean. you dont have to use them that often. wear warm clothes when its cold. wear less clothes when its hot.
-instead of taking a car 5 blocks. ride a bike!!
-plant some trees(even for fun!)
-turn off computers at night.
-when you can walk...take a bike.
in the US ... it would be nice if everyone voted, so 'the peoples' voice was actually heard ... and we stopped settling for 'the lesser of two evils', and the lies, and greed that some people seem to think we need to stay ahead
all I want is some common sense and some truth
Well it's almost 4 o'clock here. I think I'll turn my computer off, go home and stop creating havoc for everyone else - for today.
As a father of 3 I feel the best I can do for the greater good is be a good parent. That means teach my children morals, and ethics. To properly prepare my children for life. Make them see that education, and community awareness are key to their being good, honest and productive members of society. To teach them to place family above friends. To teach the boys to honor and respect women and their fellow men. To teach my daughters self confidence, and resourcefulness so they never feel "trapped" in a relationship. To teach my children to be kind and charitable. To teach my children to honor and respect senior citizens for all they have done and accomplished in life. To first and foremost set a good example for my children, and live by the very same morals and standards I am teaching them. Children are our future and we are the now! If we teach our children and live as I said above, the world as a whole would be a much better place now and forever.
We need God back in our schools, in order for a better future. I've seen all ignorance, selfishness and greed sometimes in my life. But most people are good.
What we can do today is support each other and stand by our country. Knowing God judges in the end. In other words know your 10 commandments and abide by them.
Doing all we can do to save our natural resources, like saving energy, walk more and drive less and tell other people how they can help.
